Delft [ENA] The exhibition about Delft masters in the music industry was festively opened on April 11th at Museum Prinsenhof Delft. On the occasion of the opening, the Dutch hip-hop musician Typhoon gave a performance. The exhibition will be open to the public from Friday 12 April.

Fifty years ago: Flowerpower, the Vietnam war that continues, singles like 'Waiting For the Sun' (The Doors), 'Do it again' (The Beach Boys) and 'The Dock of the Bay' (Otis Redding) are coming out, Martin Luther King is murdered and young people rise up in their desire for freedom. It was during that period that Berry Visser started the Mojo Concerts company in an attic room in Delft. From 12 April Museum Prinsenhof Delft is celebrating the 50th anniversary of this special Delft company with the exhibition "MOJO Backstage". The exhibition shows the development of MOJO and shows how the company has grown to become the largest festival organizer and the concert promoter in the Netherlands.

The "MOJO Backstage" exhibition shows how MOJO has evolved over the past fifty years. Visitors discover what is involved behind the scenes to organize a large-scale music event. Original posters, video clips, admission tickets and photos take the memory with them. The exhibition focuses on music and festival lovers of all ages. Various activities and events have been developed for visitors. There is a separate educational program and visitors can speed date in a tent.
